Logistics Management Specialist

About the Position: Under the direction of theLogistics Manager, provides logistics services support to the District in the following program areas: Transportation, Facilities and Services, Personal Property Maintenance, and Supply.

Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics programs and or operations.

Resolves difficult issues and problems in the logistics program.

May be required to provide advice and/or assistance to a particular District during peak workloads or absences of employees.

Coordinates the transportation program for the District

Coordinates the facilities and services programs within the Division HQ or Center.

Coordinates the supply program with the district, ensuring appropriate levels of supplies at all times.
