Traffic Management Specialist

About the Position: Serve as a senior Traffic Management Specialist overseeing global cargo movement operations. Provide expert guidance, conduct complex transportation analysis, coordinate joint logistics activities, and support contingency, exercise, and humanitarian missions worldwide.

Provide technical guidance on planning, directing, monitoring, and assessing global cargo movements across peacetime, exercise, and wartime operations.

Analyze strategic surface transportation requirements, policies, laws, and regulations to support cargo movement operations.

Develop cost estimates, establish SOPs, and use multiple C4I systems to manage transportation planning and execution.

Lead collection and integration of lessons learned, capability assessments, and gap analyses for transportation operations.

Coordinate global surface and air cargo and port operations in support of COCOM, agency, and ARTRANS requirements.

Provide multimodal planning and execution for contingency, humanitarian, and disaster relief operations worldwide.

Prepare and deliver cargo movement briefings to ARTRANS leadership, HQDA, USTRANSCOM, and other senior stakeholders.

Participate in and support field activities, exercises, and special studies to improve transportation programs and procedures.
