Provides ministry-focused leadership, operational management, and administrative oversight for all church facilities and physical assets across multiple campuses. Responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, highly functional, and welcoming environment to support ministry objectives, church operations, and tenant partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory:
- Demonstrate high organization and proactive problem-solving to efficiently schedule, prioritize, and manage operations across all facilities.
- Recruit, train, equip, and retain paid staff and volunteer core teams (weekly setup/teardown teams, skilled trades volunteers, and quarterly serve days).
- Direct day-to-day internal and external facility operations, ensuring standard-of-excellence cleanliness, repair, and readiness for weekly services and special events.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate facility team members, including direct reports and dotted-line campus facilities personnel.
- Oversee annual facilities operating budgets and vendor contract negotiations to ensure wise financial stewardship.
- Perform additional operational duties and special projects as requested by the Executive Pastor.
Facilities Management:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for routine maintenance, asset lifecycle tracking, and preventive care schedules.
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscape, audio/visual infrastructure support, and general structural maintenance.
- Collaborate with creative and ministry teams to execute seasonal, sermon series, and event-specific staging/decor installations.
- Manage custodial and janitorial operations utilizing internal teams and third-party contractors to uphold rigorous sanitation standards.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with municipal building codes, OSHA guidelines, fire safety codes, and ADA accessibility standards.
- Oversee church construction and renovation projects as needed.
- Serve on-call for campus emergencies, severe weather incidents, and immediate facility maintenance needs.
Security and Safety Oversight:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fire safety, physical security systems, access control (keys/badges), and emergency preparedness plans.
- Partner with local law enforcement, emergency responders, contracted security personnel, and volunteer safety teams to maintain safe campus environments.
- Supervise security director and help with security core team, training and staff communication.
Parking Team Management:
- Recruit, train and empower core team for parking for Sunday services, Wednesday nights and big events.
- Coordinate and hire off-duty police for traffic direction for Sunday services, Wednesday nights and big events.
- Help give central guidance to the regional campuses in regards to strategy and resources.
External Event Management:
- Manage tenant relations, lease compliance, occupancy agreements, and day-to-day communications with external partner organizations.
- Coordinate facility usage and technical setup support with the Special Events Project Manager for internal ministries and external facility rentals.
- Source, vet, and oversee external service vendors and sub-contractors, establishing service level agreements and quality checks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in facilities management (church/non-profit setting preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, building automation, and security systems.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, and operate basic equipment and tools.
- Proficiency with Facilities/CMMS software, Building Management Systems (BMS), project management software, and general office productivity suites.
