Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Midnight Caregiver Supervisor to lead our overnight caregiving team in providing exceptional support and care for residents. In this vital role, you will oversee the delivery of personalized assistance, ensure safety protocols are followed, and foster a compassionate environment for individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the overnight caregiving team to ensure high-quality resident care aligned with facility standards and individual care plans
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and health status, reporting any concerns promptly to nursing staff or emergency responders
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
• Support residents with dementia or cognitive disabilities through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
• Maintain a safe environment by practicing proper manual handling and safe patient lifting practices during transfers or repositioning
• Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments with a focus on geriatrics or memory care
• Strong knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community care settings
• Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and understanding with residents and their families
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and long shifts while maintaining compassion and professionalism
