Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe and report unusual conditions, and maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred: Possess a guard card or license.
• Preferred: Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred: Have customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
