Director, IT Development

Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership and oversight for customer-facing applications, ensuring they deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions that support our customers’ needs and business objectives. This position will be responsible for driving the application roadmap, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the customer application portfolio while partnering closely with business stakeholders to enhance the overall customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads the strategic delivery of integrated IT solutions across all business operations by overseeing the design, development, and implementation of cohesive systems that ensure seamless integration and scalability.
• Collaborates closely with user experience teams and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommends system solutions that meet business needs.
• Spearheads transformation efforts to enhance the delivery of value through IT solutions and services by fostering innovation, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversees relationships with external technology vendors and service providers, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality delivery of IT solutions.
• Delivers platforms, capabilities, and solutions that create value for both customers and the organization, encompassing a balanced portfolio of product management, project management, and operational delivery.
• Develops and maintains relationships with business leaders to solicit input and buy-in for investments; establishes balanced timelines to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Defines and implements development best practices across teams to ensure continued effectiveness and relevance of developed software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Required: Requires a 4 year degree.

• Required: Typically requires 12 years of related experience.

• Required: Broad and deep knowledge of IT development strategy and industry practices.
