Primary Purpose
Contributes to data analysis and visualization efforts that inform operational decisions. Applies established methods to transform raw data into actionable insights for defined business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conducts exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business performance.
Supports forecasting and predictive analytics projects by assisting in the development of machine learning models.
Supports the development of statistical models and algorithms to improve business outcomes, such as demand forecasting and customer segmentation.
Maintains data integrity and governance by adhering to established data standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
Assists in storytelling with data by crafting compelling visualizations that highlight key trends and insights.
Helps enforce data governance policies by tagging, categorizing, and securing sensitive or critical business data.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

Required: Typically requires 2 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: Ability to develop standard metrics, dashboards, and reports aligned to business needs.
Required: Ability to document analytical logic, assumptions, and data sources accurately.
Required: Knowledge of applied statistical methods and data preparation techniques used in analysis.
Required: Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and ethical data use principles.
Required: Skill in cleaning, transforming, and validating datasets for analytical use.
Required: Skill in collaborating with business partners to refine data requirements.
Required: Skill in translating defined business questions into analytical requirements.
