Sr. Case Dock Laborer

T.G. Lee Dairy has an immediate job opening for adaptable Senior Case Dock Laborers to perform all-purpose duties, which may include unloading materials and ingredients for plant or warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. Will be responsible for ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules and to provide assistance to shipping by moving trailers as requested and according to established Company policies and procedures. Required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments. The Senior Case Dock Laborer will also provide guidance/training to other case dock employees in understanding process flow of the case dock requirements.

RATE OF PAY:    $20.00 per hour

SCHEDULES AVAILABLE:

• 3rd shift - Monday thru Friday 8 pm to 4:30 am with Saturday and Sunday off days

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months-1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary. 
• Must be able to work in a wet environment. 
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal). 
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
