Veterinarian NF-05

This position is located at the Beale Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Serves as a recognized subject matter expert and leader in veterinary medical care, providing comprehensive and high-quality animal health services to support the animal health mission readiness and public health of the military community.

Planning and execution of advanced veterinary medical care, complex diagnostics, surgery, and treatment planning, demonstrating expertise in a broad range of domestic animals and medical conditions.

Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive veterinary medical programs, including preventive medicine, disease surveillance, and public health initiatives.

Advises and collaborates with management team on all aspects of veterinary medical operations, including budget management, resource allocation, facility maintenance, and manpower management.

Provide technical supervision and mentorship to a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff at large installations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
