Knowledge and ability to appropriately carry out assigned patient care based on the patents' conditions; to use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments; and to accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information. Receives requests or instructions for procedures. Interprets requests or instructions for medical or health care personnel. Receives assignments for a variety of examinations. Determines technical factors and operates equipment and instruments. Adjusts and adapts specialized equipment for procedures. Performs a range of diagnostic support duties such as taking, recording and reporting to the provider deviations in vital signs, taking specimens, labeling specimens for the laboratory. Secures the confidences and cooperation of patients during procedures. Provides general clerical/administrative support coordination work for the unit. Coordinates all activities for the clinical area, avoiding conflicts in patient treatment plans. Work Schedule: Full-time. Monday - Friday, 07:30AM- 4:00PM, but work schedule may be adjusted to meet the needs of the service. Telework: Not available. Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
