Our vacuum tool operators use vacuum tools to deposit films as part of the production of high-powered lasers. This role includes plenty of opportunities for growth within the company.

Duties:

  • Operate vacuum tools to deposit films with close attention to detail according to specified operating procedures.
  • Judge defects based on set criteria, including color.
  • Prepare materials for production by following set procedure.
  • Maintain records about the process as directed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Arm-hand steadiness with good hand-eye coordination and fine motor control.
  • Comfortable working with small fragile parts.
  • Some experience in manufacturing or other job working with hands/tools such as auto repair, construction, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
  • Ability to differentiate colors.
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime.
  • Basic familiarity with PCs


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cleanroom experience
  • Vacuum tool experience
