Energy Management Engineering Associate II

Primary Purpose
Performs routine energy analysis and supports implementation of minor efficiency measures to reduce operational costs. Ensures accurate documentation and compliance, contributing to the organization's sustainability objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs energy consumption analysis using standard methods and tools.
• Identifies straightforward opportunities for energy savings in facilities or systems.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing energy performance metrics.
• Assists in implementing minor energy conservation measures.
• Evaluates compliance with established energy standards and codes.
• Supports feasibility assessments for small-scale energy efficiency projects.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to exchange technical information.
• Maintains documentation for energy management activities and audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Required: Requires a 4 year degree in a relevant engineering field.

• Required: Typically requires 2 years of related experience.

• Required: Ability to analyze routine energy usage, load profiles, or performance trends.
• Required: Ability to identify deviations from expected energy performance.
• Required: Ability to manage multiple energy analysis tasks with moderate independence.
• Required: Knowledge of energy cost drivers and basic regulatory or tariff structures.
• Required: Knowledge of energy management technologies, measurement concepts, and system interactions.
• Required: Skill in applying basic optimization or efficiency techniques.
• Required: Skill in communicating analytical findings to peers and supervisors.

• Preferred: Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
