The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Policy or Doctrine Analyst and SME, advising on unclassified and classified matters for USSPACECOM and coordinating policy or doctrine related equities with other Combatant Commands, Services, OSD, Joint Staff, the Intelligence Community, and other relevant stakeholders.

Duties: Represents and communicates USSPACECOM's interests and equities in the formulation of space, and missile defense, related policies and doctrines, both internally and with other Combatant Commands, the Services, OSD, Joint Staff, the Intelligence Community, the United Nations, allies and partners, and other relevant stakeholders. Oversees and conducts detailed analysis of current and emerging doctrines, policies, and relevant agreements to ensure alignment with U.S. national security, military, and political objectives as related to USSPACECOM's UCP directed mission set. Develops comprehensive policy and doctrine products, ensuring alignment with current higher-level publications. Perform analysis of major scope or large-scale projects, modifying and adapting techniques to fit situations, some requiring innovative approaches.
