Engagement and Retention Coordinator

The Engagement and Retention Coordinator contributes to AHF by supporting the Southern Bureau's advocacy, community engagement, and relationship building efforts. The Engagement and Retention Coordinator helps manage the Bureau's advocacy social media presence and supports the beneficiary programs for the Florida AIDS Walk and AIDS Walk Atlanta, including application intake, review panel logistics, and follow-up with beneficiary organizations. The Engagement and Retention Coordinator supports AHF's ADAP and housing advocacy campaigns through coalition communications, rally and action logistics, story collection, and turnout for public hearings and legislative visits, and helps organize the We the People, Election Eve event on November 2, including partner and volunteer recruitment, promotion, and day-of execution. 

Across all of this work, the Engagement and Retention Coordinator builds and keeps relationships with community members, advocates, volunteers, and partner organizations so that people who engage with AHF once stay connected and active over time. You will be a visible, reliable presence for AHF in the community and a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as the Engagement and Retention Coordinator, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF, we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Engagement and Retention Coordinator will work as a part of a close-knit team and will take on other tasks as assigned in support of the Southern Bureau's advocacy priorities.
