Social Worker (Mental Health Consultant)

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Mid-South. This position serves as a Mental Health Consultant (MHC). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation utilizing DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce.

Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose mental health interventions.

Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.

Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.

Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.

Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
