Physical Therapist

About the Position: This position is with the 15th Medical Group at JBPHH-Hickam, located on Hickam AFB in Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Perform a wide range of complex physical therapy duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy, evidence-based medicine and data collection.

Provide evaluation and therapeutic interventions to a full range of wounded, ill, and injured service members.

Perform comprehensive neuromusculoskeletal evaluations (in a physician extender role) on patients presenting with medical or surgical diagnoses with or without physician referral.

Design treatment plans to meet patient/clinical objectives to maximize restoration of physical and adaptive roles and functions.

Direct and coordinate military and civilian physical therapy assistants and technicians engaged in performing physical therapy care and treatment.

Develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) for PT programs.

Provide recommendations for continued treatment, home programs, reconditioning and provide guidance on physical health, functional and adaptive activities.
