POSITION TITLE: Kettle & Angel Tree Assistant
LOCATION/DEPT: Englewood Red Shield Center Corps
REPORTS TO: Assistant Program Director/Social Service worker
FLSA CATEGORY: Non-Exempt
STATUS TYPE: Temporary Part Time
PAY GRADE: 402
PAY RANGE: $17.60

JOB SUMMARY
Assist with the overall coordination of the kettle campaign and angel tree program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with Completing and approving online Christmas Angel Tree Applications.
- Assist with scheduling delivery of angel tags to businesses and churches, pick up of angel tree gifts.
- Assist with food and toy distribution.
- Perform clerical duties to support Angel Tree.
- Maintain bell ringing site schedules through Golden.
- Assists staff, volunteers, and angel tree donors with Corps Officers
- Assist as needed the daily input of bell ringer hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE MEASURMENTS
This individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved.
Timeliness and accuracy of accomplishing assigned goals will be reviewed.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s license/MVR clearance.

JOB LIMITATIONS
- This individual will only commit Army resources that have been allocated or approved.
- This individual will keep Corps Officer(s) informed on all critical issues relating to their area of responsibility.
- This individual will adhere to all policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position is required to do moderate physical work and must be able to lift 15 pounds.
- Must be able to drive.
- Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and supervisors. This would include but not be limited to such actions: resolution of conflicts in a positive manner; courteous treatment of staff, clients, and visitors; respect for others’ property and person, professional and appropriate communication to and about co-workers, supervisors, and subordinates.
