Primary Purpose
Contributes to process analysis by applying foundational improvement techniques and tools to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical enhancements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Applies process modeling tools, improvement methodologies, benchmarking, and change management techniques to assigned projects.
- Performs quality assurance on datasets to ensure accuracy in reporting and resolves identified issues.
- Utilizes data analytics tools to interpret performance data and generate insights that facilitate decision-making.
- Analyzes business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommends actionable improvements.
- Tests and integrates tools to streamline documentation workflows and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Facilitates process design and modification efforts and monitors the impact of implemented changes.
- Coordinates assigned business process improvement activities by managing schedules, dependencies, and deliverables across workstreams.
- Prepares structured status updates, summaries, and briefing materials to support project reviews and leadership updates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Required: Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Required: Ability to apply predefined analytical frameworks to moderately complex process problems.
- Required: Ability to explain process findings and improvement rationale to non-technical stakeholders.
- Required: Ability to manage assigned process improvement tasks with limited supervision.
- Required: Knowledge of basic data analysis concepts used to assess process performance.
- Required: Knowledge of common process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or incremental improvement approaches.
- Required: Skill in analyzing routine process issues and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Required: Skill in documenting current-state and future-state processes using standard notation.
