Complex Casualty Claims Co-op

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and processing first party injury subrogation mail and payments
• Making outbound calls to obtain updated treatment and injury information on injured claimants
• Working inbound mail items and triaging according to set criteria
• Inputting information from different reports into the claims system
• Sending request for additional information to insureds and claimants as required

Qualifications and Education:

• Ability to learn new systems quickly and enter data with strict attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Self-discipline and ability to set and carry out goals each day
• Any prior medical background or experience is a plus
