Staff Scheduler - CNA

Assists nursing management with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling and assignment of nursing staff.

Assists nursing management with resident transportation scheduling and record-keeping.

Provides services and care for residents and patients.

Staffing• Creates monthly, weekly and daily schedules in collaboration with Nurse Leadership, utilizing the workforce management and employee scheduling platform. Post them in accordance with Center policy.• Provides shift/daily staff assignments for posting, in accordance with State and Federal regulations.• Coordinates staff requests for all time off with Nurse Leadership to ensure process is followed and adequate coverage for staffing.• Assists nursing department with providing coverage for staff absences.• Assists nursing with recruiting and onboarding of nursing department staff by maintaining current Open Positions determined by On Shift templates. • Collaborate with nurse managers to ensure that staffing levels are consistent with needs as directed by nurse management.

Transportation • Maintains transportation log as provided by Center leadership.• Does not schedule any transportation until Clinical necessity has been confirmed by the Director of Nursing/Designee.• Schedules for the correct transportation company as determined by Center contracts and payer source.• Schedules for the correct mode of transportation as determined by Director of Nursing/Designee.• Reconcile the transportation log at month end close, with the Center’s business office staff.
