Primary Purpose
Conducts initial investigations into employee complaints, including interviews and evidence collection, and documents findings in HR case management platforms. Strengthens organizational integrity by advising on policy interpretation and supporting compliance audits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handles high volume Employee Relations related inquiries and conducts thorough and timely investigations into employee concerns on HR matters.
- Supports investigative processes from beginning to end including complainant intakes, interviews with subjects and witnesses and reviewing relevant documentation.
- Gathers and presents complaint information to support written investigative reports, performing the initial analysis of all complaints to identify trends and issues.
- Maintains and regularly updates the caseload using the designated Employee Relations database management system.
- Supports the maintenance of Employee Relations policies to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

- Required: Communication Management - The systematic planning, implementing, monitoring, and revision of all the channels of communication within an organization and between organizations.
- Required: Policy Management - Implementing, and overseeing rules, guidelines, and procedures within an organization to regulate behavior, ensure compliance, and achieve specific goals or objectives.
- Required: Records Management - Creating, distributing, using, maintaining and disposition of recorded information maintained as evidence of business activities and transactions.
- Required: Employment Law - The body of law concerned with the legal relationship between employers and employees.
- Required: Employee Engagement - The strategies and measures implemented to create a work environment where employees are committed to their work, motivated to contribute to the company’s success.
- Required: Escalation Management - Follows proper escalation protocol to manage incidents and ensure problems are resolved and addressed at the appropriate level.
