Mental Health Case Manager

About the Position: This position is located at 673rd Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.

Perform complex assessments; conduct interviews; and analyze health care plan and resources.

Facilitate optimal patient outcomes by aligning treatment plans with best practices and the unique needs of each patient.

Provide individual and group support, psychoeducation, and skills training on topics such as stress management, coping mechanisms, and relapse prevention.

Develop and recommend strategies to improve healthcare access, reduce administrative barriers for beneficiaries, and enhance the efficiency of the treatment facility.

Conduct training, education, counseling, and clinical assistance in mental health case management techniques to nursing personnel, medical students, interns/residents, staff physicians, and administrators.
