About the role

Job Summary:

Frame Assembly is responsible for taking individual frame components and assembling into complete frames per specific product and process specifications to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to design requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Pull frame parts for orders, deliver carts to manual build tables, and ensure materials are readily available for assembly.
  • Set up manual assembly by preparing materials, including checking glue expiration dates, inserting new sponges, loading staple guns, and attaching hoses to staple guns.
  • Manually assemble frames by applying glue, clamping, and stapling components together, while inspecting parts and finished frames for defects and determining repairability.
  • Recognize product coding and frame specifications to ensure correct assembly and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safety.
  • Maintain records of frames completed, downtime, and scrap materials, while managing inventory tags to ensure efficient material handling.
  • Identify wood species and other frame components, ensuring proper material handling.
  • Adhere to organizational procedures, keeping work areas clean and accessible, and following proper clean-up procedures at the end of shifts.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address material needs and report any issues.
  • Support company values and continuous improvement efforts by performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
