FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as a Budget Analyst in the Headquarters Comptroller Division, Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC).

You will coordinate with and provide guidance, advice, and support to Headquarters staff to develop and execute annual spend plans for specific programs of record.

You will issue timely and accurate financial documents; actively monitor obligation rates and open commitments; maintain documentation in support of audit requirements.

You will ensure compliance with fiscal law, financial management regulations, higher headquarters directives, and published policy.

You will conduct financial analysis; facilitate resolution of errors and common problems within the financial system of record.

In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows: GS-11 I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/unique-hiring-paths/students/federal-occupations-by-college-major/ OR I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
