Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs examination as needed and evaluates results according to prescribed procedures.
  • Documents detailed Quality Control (QC) inspections in internal databases.
  • Uses statistical tools and software to analyze quality data for better understanding of quality performance.
  • Reads and understands technical drawings to assess product quality.
  • Interprets inspection data and generates reports for quality improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Typically requires 1 year of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Quality Control - A system of maintaining standards in products by testing a sample of the output against the specification.
  • Inspection Management - A critical process of quality control that involves measuring, examining, and reviewing materials against standard requirements to ensure materials or components conform to the standards and latest guidelines.
  • Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyses.
  • Statistical Process Control - Using statistical methods to monitor and control processes to ensure they are operating within specified limits and producing consistent, high-quality outcomes. SPC helps detect variations, trends, and anomalies in processes, enabling timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Testing - The systematic process of evaluating and verifying that a product or service meets predefined quality standards and requirements through testing and validation procedures. It aims to ensure that the final deliverable is of high quality and free from defects or issues.
  • Nondestructive Examination (NDE) - The process of using non-invasive procedures to inspect the condition of a material or measure a characteristic of an object without creating damage or disassembly.
  • Root Cause Analysis - The process of discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring an organization's adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes.
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) Deployment - Implementing a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives, and meeting product requirements.
  • Technical Reporting - The creation of detailed and clear reports documenting technical findings, incidents, and resolutions, often including data analysis and recommendations.
Licenses and Certifications
  • A valid California driver's license is required.
