Financial Management Specialist

About the Position: Serves as a Financial Management Analyst within Resources Services Directorate (RSD)Managerial Accounting Division. Manages the Centrally Billed Accounts (CBAs) and Individually Billed accounts (IBAs) for Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA/OA22). Incumbent is responsible for providing government travel payment support, including managing, monitoring, and processing actions for OA-22 civilian and military centrally and individually billed travel accounts.

Generates and analyzes various reports, such as delinquency report, IBA Aging Analysis Report, Account Activity Report, pre-suspension report to monitor card usage.

Serves as primary GTC APC with the responsibilities to effectively monitor and maintain the government travel card program in accordance with Army Regulations and guidance.

Reviews and audits cardholder accounts on a regular basis to ensure cards of transferred or separated employees are deactivated or closed.

Maintains records of Centrally Billed Accounts (CBAs) and monitors accounts to ensure proper establishing of accounts in the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Serves as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) providing Defense Travel System (DTS) system support.
