Compensation: $220,000–$300,000+, plus a flexible partnership structure (profit sharing, equity ownership or a mix)

Make your mark at an established veterinary clinic in Dallas. CityVet Lovers Lane offers comprehensive medical, dental and surgical care, along with care for reptiles and pocket pets. With a healthy existing team, a strong culture and a 4.8-star rating from more than 370 client reviews, the clinic provides a strong foundation for a veterinarian ready to shape its next chapter and build lasting relationships with pets and their families.

This isn't a fixer-upper, and it isn't a startup. Lovers Lane already has skilled veterinarians, a dedicated support team and clients who love it. What it needs now is a leader: someone who will bring the doctors together around a shared vision, help each of them grow, and take a great practice even further.

What you'll do

• Lead the medicine. Set the clinical direction and standards of care across general medicine, dentistry, surgery and exotics. You'll have the autonomy to practice the way you believe medicine should be practiced, with no quotas and no rigid corporate protocols.
• Lead a team of doctors. Mentor and support the associate veterinarians, encourage collaboration and case-sharing, and help each doctor build a career they're excited about.
• Protect and strengthen the culture. You'll inherit a team that already works well together. Your job is to build on that trust, not start over.
• Grow what's here. Deepen client relationships, extend the practice's reputation, and expand its reach in the Dallas community, including local rescues and shelters.
• Think like an owner. Work with CityVet leadership on the practice's goals, and share directly in the success you help create.

Your partnership, your way

There's no one-size-fits-all partnership here. Some veterinarians want to share in the profits right away. Others want to build equity and own a stake in the practice. Many want to start with one and grow into the other. We're flexible, and we'll shape the ownership structure around you: your goals, your career stage and your long-term plans.

Profit sharing

• Share in the clinic's profits from the start

• A lower-risk way into practice leadership, with the option to move to equity later

Equity ownership

• Own a real stake in an established, growing practice

• Have a true owner's voice in the clinic's future

Or something in between. You might start with profit sharing and move to equity over time, or you might have your own idea of how a partnership should work. Either way, we want to hear it. We'll go through the options openly and early, and build a structure that works for you and for the practice.

What we're looking for

• DVM/VMD or equivalent, licensed in Texas or eligible for licensure
• 3+ years of small animal experience; leadership or mentorship experience preferred
• Experience with reptiles and pocket pets is a plus, but not required. We're happy to support your growth in exotics.
• A collaborative leader who earns trust from fellow veterinarians and support staff
• Someone who wants to own outcomes, not just appointments
