The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take on a varied docket of civil defense litigation, guiding matters from start to finish under the mentorship of a partner. - Carry a sizable docket of active files at the same time.

- Prepare motions, pleadings and written responses to discovery requests.

- Take and defend witness testimony at depositions.

- Attend court hearings and help get cases ready for trial.

What we're looking for

- Active New York bar license in good standing.

- JD from an ABA-approved law school.

- At least 2 years of civil defense litigation experience, ideally with casualty or liability matters.

- Track record of juggling a high volume of open cases.

- Ability to meet an annual billable hours target of roughly 2,000 to 2,100 hours.

- Self-motivated, able to run a full caseload independently with minimal supervision.
