So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?
· Utilizing the Store Inventory Management (SIM) system, conducting research to resolve errors related to store receipts, transfers in/out, replenishment, inventory adjustments, shipment confirmations, returns to vendor/warehouse, etc
· Inspects, replenishes products to include, but not limited to reviewing shelf Not-in-Stock (NIS) for Retail and Services
· Take inventory, execution and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Perpetual Inventory Management, Planogram Integrity and Price Verification and Label Integrity
· Lifting and handling moderate to heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
· Working both inside and outside in all types of weather conditions
The Qualifiers:
· A total of two years of experience or two year degree
· One year of experience in administrative, professional, investigative or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain a general knowledge in retail or merchandising operations functioning within an automated system environment.
· One year of experience which provided a knowledge of retail store operations processes and familiarity with inventory control methods in a computerized environment; knowledge of computer systems and ability to access screens and print documents.
