About the role
SNIPEBRIDGE is a strategic talent solutions company specializing in connecting exceptional talent to great career opportunities. We work as an exclusive partner to leading AEC and technology organizations that are advancing the built environment through innovation, technical rigor, and transformative work.
COMPANY
Our client is a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm delivering thoughtful, high-performing buildings across a diverse range of project types, from commercial, workplace, and mixed-use to civic, education, healthcare, and residential. Its teams bring together design excellence and technical rigor, collaborating closely across disciplines and with consultants, owners, and builders to carry projects from early concept through construction. The firm treats digital delivery as a core part of how it designs and builds, and it values people who help teams work smarter, coordinate more clearly, and deliver with confidence.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The BIM Specialist will help project teams across the firm's portfolio produce well-coordinated, high-quality models and deliverables. This role combines model development, standards, clash coordination, data quality, and hands-on user support to make design and construction information easier to use across the project lifecycle, and it offers the chance to shape BIM practices firm-wide rather than on a single project type.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and audit coordinated BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems
- Run clash detection, lead coordination reviews with internal teams and consultants, and track issues through resolution
- Establish and maintain project templates, naming standards, model-health practices, and BIM execution plan requirements
- Manage model federation, file exchanges, permissions, and common data environment workflows
- Create families, views, schedules, and model-based deliverables that support design documentation and construction
- Support teams using Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and related coordination tools
- Perform quality-control checks for geometry, metadata, coordinates, and deliverable readiness
- Train project users and help improve repeatable digital-delivery workflows across the studio
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of BIM production or coordination experience in an architecture, design, or construction environment
- Advanced Revit and Navisworks skills; Autodesk Construction Cloud experience preferred
- Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination
- Experience with model federation, clash workflows, shared coordinates, and BIM execution plans
- Dynamo, scripting, reality-capture, or model-automation experience is a plus
- Clear communication skills and the ability to support users with different levels of BIM experience
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
