Park Ranger

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a GS-0025-5/7/9 Park Ranger Position located at Canyon Lake, Texas.

You will conduct long and short range planning, administration, coordination and management of project activities.

Project activities include fish and wildlife management, soil conservation, forest and range conservation, water quality, environmental stewardship, recreation, park administration, public relations and visitor assistance.

Participate in conservation, preservation, restoration and use of project natural and cultural resources.

Participate in all aspects of recreation management at the project.

Assist with project's environmental compliance program.
