Nursing Assitant

About the Position: These position are located in various departments of Evans Army Community Hospital, Defense Health Agency at Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Patient Care and Support by assisting with ambulation and ADL’s.

Diagnostic and Treatment Set-up: Prepare rooms for patient arrival and patient discharge. Perform EKG’s and take vitals.

Clinical Maintenance and Logistics: Clean equipment and restock supplies.

Specimen collection: Obtain urine and stool samples.

Records data on clinical records in accordance with established standard operating procedures.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
