At Seed to Table, we’re more than a market we’re a community dedicated to fresh, organic, and high-quality products. As a Meat Associate, you’ll play a vital role in preparing and presenting premium meat products while delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and fulfilling orders
- Cut, grind, weigh, price, wrap, and package meat according to customer specifications
- Maintain product knowledge to assist customers effectively
- Receive, unload, stock, and rotate fresh meat deliveries
- Ensure all products are within sell-by dates and maintain proper display standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures consistently
- Use cutting gloves and wear non-slip shoes for safety
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently while staying organized and attentive
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficiency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus.
- Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs easily.
- Stand and walk long periods
- Hear and follow instructions and customer needs.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move easily in a busy place.
- Work comfortably in cold areas and with cleaning products.
- Handle fresh ingredients without allergies.
- Use step-stools and ladders safely.
- Keep balance while working carefully.
- Communicate clearly with team members.
