Supervisory Procurement Analyst

About the Position: You will serve as the Chief of the Business Oversight Branch (BOB) for the Baltimore District. The Chief of the Contracting Office (CoCO) delegates responsibility for procurement policy matters pertaining to the assigned Business Oversight Branch.

Serve as the procurement technical expert for initiatives such as designing and implementing a quality assurance process for reviewing pre/post award contracting actions and monitoring procurement systems content for accuracy.

Plan and evaluate the work of subordinates based on priorities, consideration of complexity of requirement and skill level of employee and provide the leadership necessary to maintain a productive workforce.

Analyze and resolve complex acquisition and business problems with long range impact on project or program matters utilizing knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and acquisition processes.

Present written guidance and recommendations on all policy, procedures, regulation and instructions pertaining to all aspects of pre and post award procurement functions.

Work with District elements to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations providing quality products and services.
