Director of Enterprise Growth and Development - Merakey
The Director of Enterprise Growth and Development is responsible for leading transformation, integration, and diversification initiatives across the organization. This position will collaborate with executive leadership and lead cross functional teams to develop and implement advance Merakey’s strategic goals. This position will report directly to the Corporate Vice President of Business Development and is an integral part of conceiving, incubating, developing, implementing, managing, and transitioning data-driven, innovation-focused projects, products, and proposals. The Director of Enterprise Growth and Development will perform as a strategic partner with executive and operational leadership to influence growth and development initiatives through presentation of data analytics and authoring strategic narratives, business cases, proposals, and roadmaps. This position will utilize project management skills to help lead ideas from concept through to early stage new business development. Job duties include:

Manage the development and execution of business development strategic plans and objectives across organizational segments, under the direction of the Corporate Vice President of Business Development, to expand Merakey’s presence in existing markets and penetrate new markets.

Lead enterprise-wide change and business transformation initiatives, championing innovation and continuous improvement; identify organizational challenges and develop innovative, scalable solutions aligned with long-term growth, integration, and transformation objectives.

Direct research, development, and execution of high-impact business cases, transformation strategies, and strategic plans that inform executive decision-making regarding new ventures, service lines, market positioning, investment opportunities, and enterprise direction.

Develop and oversee integrated go-to-market and business development strategies using competitive intelligence, sales analytics, customer insights, and market data to drive market expansion, client retention, service innovation, and sustainable growth.

Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership and project teams, aligning strategic vision, resource planning, organizational priorities, and cross-functional execution; provide executive-level reporting and actionable recommendations based on market, financial, operational, and performance data.

Drive cross-functional implementation and integration of new business initiatives, products, and services across operations, compliance, finance, technology, and other functions; oversee regulatory licensing, certification, standard operating model development, organizational readiness, risk management, and measurable outcomes.

Lead cross-functional due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring strategic alignment, operational continuity, organizational readiness, and successful realization of synergies across people, processes, and systems; design and oversee scalable agile innovation processes to rapidly pilot, evaluate, and iterate new ideas.

Provide direct leadership and supervision to assigned staff, including goal setting, workload prioritization, performance management, regular one-on-one coaching, professional development, and accountability; foster collaboration and a positive team culture while ensuring alignment with organizational policies, mission, ethics, equity principles, and strategic objectives. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI tracking systems to monitor performance, inform business development decisions, and communicate progress to executive leadership.
This is a remote position available for candidates residing in PA, DE, MD, NJ, OH, FL, TX, and VA.
Up to 10% travel as needed required.
- Bachelors degree with PMP and/or CM&AA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 10 years related experience in a professional office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, video conferencing technology
- Knowledge of business development strategies
- Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential market segments
- Proven ability to increase competitiveness
- Ability to advise on strategic industry partnerships
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
