About the role
Joining the Secret Service, Office of Field Operations, Chicago Field Office will allow you to plan, conduct, and coordinate complex analytical assignments and research projects in support of diverse investigations to include financial crimes, cybercrime, and protective intelligence activities. The selectee will serve as a Investigative Analyst in the Office of Field Operations, Chicago Field Office. Typical work assignments include: Conducting analysis of suspected criminal activities; developing target packets/profiles; and utilizing systems to perform protective intelligence research and criminal analysis. Identifying, analyzing, and extracting pertinent information from the investigative cases. Reviewing and evaluating data, material, and documents to develop leads and case profiles. Participating as an active member on anti-crime task forces, providing criminal research and analytical assistance pertaining to on-going investigations. Drafting written documents and presenting research to applicable stakeholders and maintains ongoing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
