Job Descriptionhackajob is collaborating with Colt Technology Services to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.\ NColt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.\ NWhy we need this role\ NThe Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (M365, Azure, GCP & Identity) is responsible for the engineering, implementation, and operational support of Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and enterprise identity (AD/Entra).\ NThe role delivers secure, standardised, and automated solutions, translating architectural designs, standards, and roadmaps into robust, scalable platform implementations and operational services.\ NWorking as a senior technical expert within the engineering team, the role collaborates with Architecture, Security, Development, and Operations teams to ensure solutions are delivered, integrated, and operated effectively.\ NIt embeds security, resilience, automation, and operability by implementation, driving consistency and optimisation across M365, Azure, GCP, and Identity platforms. Through engineering excellence, the role reduces risk, complexity, and manual effort, improves resilience and service stability, and supports cost-efficient platform operations.\ NWhat you will do\ NEngineers and supports solutions across M365, Azure, GCP, and Identity, ensuring platforms, tooling, interfaces, and configurations are secure, resilient, automated, and operationally effective.\ N\nMicrosoft 365 Platforms: Implementation, configuration, and support of collaboration and productivity services (inc. Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune), including governance controls, security settings, and lifecycle activities\ NAzure Cloud: Deployment and support of landing zones, subscriptions, connectivity, platform services, and governance controls aligned to architectural standards\ NGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP): Implementation and operational support of project structures, networking, workload environments, and security configurations\ NIdentity & Access: Engineering and operation of Active Directory and Entra ID, including authentication, Conditional Access, privileged access, identity governance, and directory integration\ NCloud Security & Compliance: Implementation and maintenance of secure configurations, monitoring, logging, encryption, and policy enforcement across cloud and identity platforms\ NDelivers and supports standardisation, automation, tooling, and consistency across cloud, workplace, and identity platforms\ N\nWhat we're looking for\ N 1. Solution Engineering & Operation\ N\nImplement and operate infrastructure and platform solutions aligned to architectures, standards, and patterns\ NBuild, configure, and operate end-to-end cloud, M365, and identity solutions\ NAct as senior escalation point for engineering and operational issues\ N\n2. Security, Resilience & Operability\ N\nImplement and operate secure-by-design configurations\ NEnsure resilience, recoverability, monitoring, and operational readiness are delivered and sustained\ N\n3. Roadmap Execution\ N\nDeliver and operate roadmap initiatives and platform improvements\ NSupport planning andexecution of engineering and operational changes\ N\n4. Cross-Domain Collaboration\ N\nWork with Architecture, Security, Development, and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions\ NEnsure solutions aretested, transitioned, and fully operational\ N\n5. Vendor & Technology Engagement\ N\nWork with vendors to support implementation, operation, and issue resolution\ NContribute to platform, tooling, and operational improvements\ N\n6. Operational Governance & Support\ N\nEnsure solutions align to standards and are maintained through BAU lifecycle\ NSupport incident, problem, and continuous service improvement activities\ N\n7.
