Foundation Learning & Life Skills Tutor – Further Education

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Foundation Learning Tutor to support learners aged 16–19 within a further education setting.

The Role:

* Deliver engaging sessions focused on practical life skills and personal development.

* Support learners in developing independence, confidence and communication skills.

* Develop employability skills and prepare young people for adulthood and the workplace.

* Encourage learner participation, engagement and progression.

* Support students in achieving their individual learning goals.

Key Details:

* Contract: Temporary, initially until Christmas, with potential to extend.

* Working Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

* Tuesday: Non-working day.

Essential Requirements:

* Experience supporting or teaching learners aged 16–19.

* Background in Foundation Learning, Life Skills, Personal Development or Employability.

* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical learning sessions.

* Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.

* Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
