Functional Skills & Vocational Skills Tutor – Further Education

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tutor to support learners aged 16–19 within a further education setting.

The Role:

* Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English (Level 1).

* Teach introductory employability and vocational skills.

* Support learners in developing confidence, independence and essential skills for progression into further education or employment.

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners' needs.

Key Details:

* Start Date: 16th November 2026

* Contract: Temporary, ongoing

* Working Days: Tuesday – Friday

* Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm

Essential Requirements:

* Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and English.

* Knowledge of Pearson specifications.

* Experience teaching Level 1 vocational or employability qualifications.

* Ability to engage and motivate 16–19-year-old learners.

* Must hold an Enhanced DBS
