As a Senior Major Works Billing & Consultation Officer in London, you'll be handling billing and consultation processes for major works in the property sector. Client Details This role is based within the Social Housing sector in London, focusing on property-related services. Description Manage billing processes for major works projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate consultation activities with residents and stakeholders on major works. Monitor and report on project costs and recovery processes. Maintain detailed records and documentation for billing and consultation activities. Provide guidance and support to colleagues on financial and consultation matters. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies. Respond to queries and concerns from residents in a professional and timely manner. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and communication.Profile A successful Senior Major Works Billing & Consultation Officer should have: Experience in billing and Section 20 consultation processes within the property or Housing sector. Associate or Member of TPI, RICS, CIH or equivalent professional body. Knowledge of relevant legislation - Sections 19, 20 and 20B of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with complex resident enquiries, complaints, disputes and tribunal proceedings. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Job Offer Salary between £45,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
