Senior Quantity Surveyors

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the financial and contractual success of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quantity surveying, demonstrating a strong ability to manage costs, contracts, and project budgets effectively, thereby contributing to the overall success of our operations in the UK market. Responsibilities: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and financial forecasting. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for various construction projects. Manage contracts and negotiate terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project progress and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders. Advise on procurement strategies and assist in the selection of contractors and suppliers. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimise project delivery. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and trainees. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the building and construction industry. Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is preferred. Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Full UK Driving Licence
