Mobile Vehicle Techician

Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing,maintenanceand repair, via pre-booked appointments, at customers home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members.

Pay / salary: £45,370 (inclusive of LWA) OTE: Up to £57,000
Job type: Permanent / Full time role

Shift and schedule for the Mobile Technician role
Home based, working 40 hours per week, across 5 days (Monday to Saturday) 8am 8PM, working 1 in 4 Saturdays.
1 day of overtime per month = £3,000additionalper year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000additionalper year, completely optional more flexibility, more reward.

Job Responsibilities for the Mobile Technician role
Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) customer selected location e.g. driveway, office car park.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify andresolve complex issues.
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
Payment handling through card transactions.
Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Keep accurate recordsof all work performed and parts used.

Whatyoullneed to be considered for the Mobile Technician role
Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, orequivalent)
Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles. Either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.
The ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures.
A customer-focused approach
Must have a full UK driving licence - max 6 points, no bans
