Refrigeration Engineer

Refrigeration Improver Location: London (covering surrounding areas) Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm We’re recruiting for a motivated Refrigeration Improver to join a growing commercial engineering business working across London and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within refrigeration and air conditioning, gaining hands-on experience across a varied commercial portfolio. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll support the delivery of maintenance, servicing, and repair works across pubs, bars, restaurants, and other commercial environments. The Role * Assist experienced engineers with planned and reactive maintenance * Support servicing and repairs on commercial air conditioning systems * Work on small refrigeration equipment including cellar cooling and under-counter units * Attend breakdowns and help diagnose faults across commercial sites * Complete job reports and maintain high service standards * Travel across a manageable patch covering West London, Slough, and surrounding areas * Learn industry best practices, compliance standards, and fault-finding techniques What’s on Offer * Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience * Company van and fuel card * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Clear progression into fully qualified engineer roles * Stable commercial contract portfolio * Supportive team environment * Monday to Friday working hours About You * Previous experience within refrigeration, air conditioning, HVAC, or building services preferred * F-Gas certification desirable but not essential * Keen to develop a long-term career within refrigeration engineering * Practical mindset with strong work ethic * Good communication and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence preferred * Able to work independently and as part of a team Interested?
