Lead Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)West London - Chelsea45,000 - 50,500 + PackageShift pattern - Days - 4 on, 4 off BriefLead Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Chelsea, London who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Lead Shift Engineer that takes pride in their work and has a strong understanding of electrical fault finding, diagnosis, repairs and reactive maintenance.The successful candidate would have a relevant qualification - i.e. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18th Edition etc. - and have a keen interest in M&E Engineering. If you have commercial experience in Facilities Management that would be a plus!BenefitsSalary: 45,000 - 50,500 per annum24 day's holiday + public holidaysLife Cover 1.5 times your annual salaryEmployee discount schemes on major brands and retailersGym membership discountsCycle to Work SchemeHoliday Purchase SchemeCorporate Social Responsibility daysLearning and development opportunitiesSupport for professional qualificationsEmployee Referral ProgrammeAccess to employee networks and wellbeing resources24 hour Employee Assistance ProgrammeWhat the role entails:Some of the main duties of the Lead Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) will include:Lead the electrical engineering team and achieve planned maintenance targetsComplete electrical fault finding, diagnosis, repairs and reactive maintenanceMaintain electrical and mechanical systems, statutory compliance, site records and safe systems of workManage client requests, quotations, reports and subcontractor activitiesMaintain a professional image onsite, ensuring cleanliness and good working relationshipsOperate Permit to Work systems in line with organisation and client proceduresProvide holiday and sickness cover, participate in out-of-hours standby rota, and flexible shift patternsWhat experience you need to be the successful Lead Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias):Recognised Electrical industry qualification i.e. NVQ Level 3 Electrical InstallationsMinimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally with building services M&E knowledgeQualified in BS th Edition and AM2Electrical Inspection and Testing 2391 - DesirableAble to lead engineers, manage subcontractors and maintain statutory complianceConfident reading electrical drawings and using CAFM systemsAble to act as a Competent Person for designated electrical dutiesCustomer focused, organised and able to work under pressureA mechanical qualification is desirableComputer literate, a good communicator, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and within a teamFluent in English, written and spokenAvailable to undertake out-of-hours standby rotaThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to progress their career.
