Litter Picker Operative – Waste & Recycling Bradford Employer: SWIFT Temps Ltd – Industrial Recruitment Division Location: Bradford Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour PAYE – Holiday pay accrued Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am-14:30pm and Friday 6am-14:00pm Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Ongoing About the Role: SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting for Litter Picker Operatives to join a waste and recycling team supporting the local authority in the Bradford area. This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent work and a structured four-day working week. Key Responsibilities: * Working as part of a team to keep public areas clean and tidy * Collecting litter from streets, public areas and designated routes * Emptying and handling litter bags and waste materials * Supporting the wider waste and recycling team as required * Working outdoors in all weather conditions * Following all health and safety procedures * Carrying out physically demanding duties, including walking for extended periods and manual handling Requirements: * Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties * Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions * Good attendance and reliability * Able to work effectively as part of a team * Previous experience in waste, recycling, street cleaning or a similar role is desirable but not essential * A positive attitude and good work ethic Benefits: * £12.71 per hour PAYE * Holiday pay accrued * Ongoing work * Four-day working week * Free on-site parking * Support from our Bradford-based recruitment team How to Apply: Click to apply
