Content Designer

Content Designer – English/Welsh Bilingual We’re looking for an experienced Content Designer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering new digital services for the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). You’ll help design clear, accessible and evidence-based content for services aimed at helping people identify and reduce gambling-related harms and access appropriate support. What you’ll do * Design user-centred content across digital services and journeys * Turn complex information into clear, accessible content * Work closely with user researchers, service designers, interaction designers and product teams * Use research, analytics and user feedback to test and improve content * Ensure English and Welsh content and journeys are considered from the outset * Contribute to services that meet GDS Service Standard and WCAG 2.2 AA requirements What we’re looking for * Strong content design experience within agile digital teams * Experience designing accessible, user-centred digital content * Good understanding of GDS standards and content design principles * Experience using user research and evidence to inform content decisions * Ability to work sensitively with complex or potentially distressing subject matter * Welsh/bilingual content design capability Location: Remote-first, with occasional in-person workshops Programme: DHSC Gambling Harms Prevention Programme Clearance: BPSS
