About the role

🚨 Family Solicitor | 4-6 PQE

Not every family lawyer wants a bigger caseload. Some want better cases. More autonomy. Better-quality clients. And a role that gives them room to build their own reputation.

I'm currently recruiting for a Family Lawyer / Solicitor (4–6 PQE) to join a highly regarded family team in Merseyside, with offices in Liverpool and Southport and genuine hybrid working.

This is not a role centred around straightforward, high-volume family work.

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside a well-known and highly respected family law specialist, while having the autonomy to manage your own caseload and develop your own profile within an established team.

The work includes:

  • High-value financial remedy cases
  • Divorce involving businesses, trusts and pensions
  • Complex cohabitation disputes
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • International family law matters
  • Private children work

Why might this be worth exploring?

  • Quality work without the traditional city-firm culture
  • Direct access to an experienced, recognised Family Partner
  • Established referral network and client base
  • Genuine hybrid working and flexibility
  • Opportunity to build your own profile
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • A genuinely collaborative and supportive environment

I'm particularly interested in speaking with lawyers who have strong privately funded family experience and are ready for something more than simply the next rung on the ladder.
