DevOps Engineer Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 Remote (UK based) We're working with a growing technology business looking to hire a Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of cloud infrastructure, improve deployment processes and help build a scalable, secure and highly available platform. Working closely with software engineers, you'll play a key role in driving automation, enhancing developer experience and ensuring infrastructure supports the continued growth of the business. Your Key Responsibilities: Manage and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform Support deployment, release and environment management processes Monitor platform performance, reliability and security Investigate incidents and implement long-term solutions Drive automation across engineering workflows Support disaster recovery, backup and resilience initiatives Champion security best practices across infrastructure and cloud environments Requirements Proven experience in a DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering role Strong experience with AWS in production environments Hands-on Terraform experience Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab Strong Docker and containerisation experience Experience with monitoring and observability tools Good understanding of infrastructure security, IAM and secrets management Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools
