Electro-Mechanical Technicians – UAV Systems
Location: Berkshire, near Reading
Salary: £25,000–£30,000
Rate: £23 - £25 DOE Outside IR35 & Starting ASAP
Four positions | Full-time, on-site
Venn Group is recruiting exclusively for a growing British aerospace and defence company.
We need four practical Technicians to help build, wire, test and fault-find Defence equipment.
The work
- Mechanical and electrical assembly
- Soldering, crimping, wiring and cabling
- Building from drawings and work instructions
- Functional testing and fault-finding
- Recording build and test information
- Supporting integration, trials and product improvements
What we’re looking for
- Practical assembly, production or technician experience
- Soldering, wiring or cabling ability
- Confidence using hand tools and basic test equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site near Reading
- Eligibility for UK SC clearance
Experience in UAVs, aerospace, robotics, avionics, electronics, motorsport or defence would be useful but is not essential.
This opportunity could suit Electronics Technicians, Assembly Technicians, Production Technicians, Avionics Technicians, Engineering Technicians or Armed Forces technical personnel.
