Senior Quantity Surveyor (DfE)

I am exclusively partnering with one of the UK's most respected, top-tier main contractors to secure a critical Senior Quantity Surveyor hire for their commercial leadership team.

They aren't looking for another cog in the machine. My client needs a heavy-hitting Senior QS to take absolute ownership of their expanding education portfolio. If you know Department for Education (DfE) frameworks inside out, this is the platform you've been waiting for.

As a strategic key hire, you will take the commercial lead on high-profile, multi-million-pound DfE builds.

Take Control: Steer complex DfE projects from pre-construction right through to final account.

Drive Margins: Lead procurement, sub-contractor management, and deliver razor-sharp cost reporting.

Lead the Line: Act as the ultimate commercial authority on your projects, advising the board and mentoring junior surveying staff.

You will need:

The Background: A proven, battle-tested track record as an SQS within a recognized main contractor environment.

The Niche: Extensive, hands-on experience delivering DfE projects. (This is the non-negotiable key to the role).

The Sharpness: Commercially astute, contractually elite (JCT/NEC), and a master negotiator.

The Drive: The ability to step up, take absolute ownership, and protect the bottom line.
